Event Advertising – Benington Chilli Festival

Event Advertising Campagin

Our Campaign of the Month winner in July goes to Benington Chilli Festival with their Streetliner event advertising campaign in Hertfordshire.

Benington Chilli Festival first started in 2006, attracting thousands of families over three days. Situated in Benington Lordship Gardens, the festival is suited to children and adults. With over 60 pitches of the nation’s best known independent chilli traders, the event offers the opportunity to buy chilli plants, products and sample foods from around the world. Alongside a variety of entertainment such as Acrobatics, comedy from Felicity Footloose, music from Abba Chique, faces painting and sand art. If you’re feeling extra brave you have the opportunity get involved in their chilli eating competition… I think we’d just sit it out and watch this one!

Their Event Advertising Campaign

Benington Chilli Festival took out 10 Streetliners for their event advertising campaign on the Centrebus Stevenage bus fleet for a four week period, using a mix of random and specific routes. With popular areas covered such as Hitchin, St Albans, Hertford, Welwyn City Garden and many more, their event advertising campaign had plenty of exposure, attracting more visitors to join them over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Streetliners are available in 10ft and 13ft, delivering the message at eye-level to motorists and pedestrians alike. They are great for event advertising as they allow you to cover a large geographical area, over a short burst.

Thinking about Event Advertising?

Buses are on the road between 10 and 18 hours a day, up to seven days a week. That’s a lot of time that your event could be getting in front of your target audience. As well as being in town and city centres, buses also take to the residential areas, increasing the viewing further. We even have some buses that do more rural routes, which suit some of our clients and their needs.

With bus advertising, you aren’t relying on a prospective customer to buy a form of print media and to turn the page onto your particular advert. You’re not relying on them having the radio or TV on at the right time to catch your advert.

The only thing you have to rely on is us, Adverta, to look after your marketing needs from start to finish and we have decades of experience in doing so.
